PROCEDURE | |
| Step 1: | Prepare dossier according to the provisions of law; |
Step 2: | Agencies, organizations or individuals submitting dossiers; |
Step 3: | Officers receiving the application shall check the legality and content of the application; |
Step 4: | The person receives the results shall presents the receipt, the identity card or the passport to the officer who returns the inspection and comparison results, if there is a permanent resident card issue; |
SUBMISSION OF DOSSIER | Directly at the head office of the police station of the province or centrally run city where the foreigner permanently resides. |
REQUIREMENT | Requires implementation every 10 years |

- Permanent Resident Card; |
- Certified copy of passport, except for stateless persons. |
DURATION | 20 working days from the date of submission of complete and valid dossiers. |
SUBJECT | Foreigners permanently residing in Vietnam. |
RESULT | Valid dossier: Permanent Resident Card; |
Invalid dossier: Notice of amendment, supplement or Notice of refusal to grant permanent residence card. |
