- Issuing permits to visit Vietnam for foreigners in transit

PROCEDURE

Step 1:
Prepare dossier according to the provisions of law;
Step 2:
International travel enterprises wishing to welcome transit passengers into Vietnam for sightseeing or tourism must submit their dossiers at one of the three working offices of the Immigration Department - the Ministry of Public Security;
Step 3:
Officers receiving the application dossier shall check the legality and content of the dossier;
Step 4:
International travel enterprises receive official dispatches replying to the results of personnel review, entry permits at the Immigration Department, the Ministry of Public Security, and permits for sightseeing tours at international border gates where guests enter.
SUBMISSION OF DOSSIER
Before carrying out procedures to welcome guests into Vietnam for sightseeing and tourism, international travel businesses need to submit documents to prove their legal status at the Immigration Department.

Valid dossier: Official letter replying to the results of personnel review, entry permit and Permision letter to visit and tourism in Vietnam;
Invalid dossier: Notice of amendments and supplements.

Circular 25/2021/TT-BTC stipulating the rate, collection, payment, management and use of fees and charges in the field of exit, entry, transit and residence in Vietnam.
Circular 44/2011/TT-BCA guiding the issuance of permits to visit and travel in Vietnam for foreigners in transit issued by the Ministry of Public Security;
Decision No. 6300/QD-BCA-A61 in 2014 announcing new and amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the field of state management of immigration under the handling competence of the Ministry of Public Security;
Decision No. 2702/QD-BCA-A61 in 2012 announcing new, supplemented and amended administrative procedures under the management function of the Ministry of Public Security.
