PROCEDURE | |
| Step 1: | Prepare dossier according to the provisions of law; |
Step 2: | Agencies, organizations and individuals submit dossiers at one of the three working offices of the Immigration Department - the Ministry of Public Security; |
Step 3: | Officers receiving the application dossier shall check the legality and content of the dossier; |
Step 4: | The person receives the result shall presents the receipt, the identity card or the passport to the officer who returns the test results and compares, if there is the result of the temporary residence card. |
SUBMISSION OF DOSSIER | Directly at the headquarters of the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security. |
REQUIREMENT | Agencies and organizations, when applying for temporary residence cards to foreigners, need to submit documents proving their legal status at the Immigration Department, the Ministry of Public Security; |
Foreigners, Vietnamese people holding foreign passports with valid passports, visas (except for cases of visa exemption), temporary residence certificates issued by Vietnamese competent authorities, residing in Vietnam and not being categorized as "not yet allowed to enter Vietnam" or "deferred exit"; |
Vietnamese citizens applying for the grant, supplementation, amendment of visas or extension of temporary residence for foreigners or Vietnamese holding foreign passports must be a person who has a father, mother, wife, husband and child relationship with the foreigner or Vietnamese people holding foreign passports (requires proof of identity). |
