On 28th March, Congress National Representative Assembly Vietnam-Japan friendship tenure VI (2015- 2020) took place at the International Convention Center Hanoi with the participation of the comrades: To Huy Rua -committee members executive, chief of central organization, group president Vietnam-Japan friendship parliamentarians; Dinh La Thang - Party central committee, the minister of transportation; Vu Xuan Hong - union president of Vietnam Friendship Organizations; Nghiem Vu Khai Chairman of Vietnam-Japan Friendship lock 5; Yoshi Ryokichi - vice chairman of Japan-Vietnam friendship, representatives of ministries and departments and the general Assembly of Vietnam-Japan friendship.
Reporting at the meeting stated that the term V (2006 - 2015), Vietnam Friendship Association - Japan always thoroughly undertakings and the foreign policy of the Party and the State, promote the spirit of initiative and created in foreign affairs people; actively cooperate with Party foreign affairs and diplomacy of the State, Congress and all levels of government, unions; complete the objectives and tasks of the term; organize many activities have practical results contribute actively develop relations of friendship and cooperation between the two states, two peoples of Vietnam and Japan.
On behalf of the Party, State, Comrade Huy Rua said appreciated the contribution of the Board of the Vietnam - Japan in the last term. Hope in the new term, the Association continues to innovate, with a rich variety of activities, effectively contribute to promoting solidarity, friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries deeply. On this occasion, Mr. To Huy Rua awarded Labour Order third class of the President awarded Vietnam Friendship Association - Japan.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of Vietnam Friendship Association - Japan new term, Mr. Dinh La Thang said expressed thanks to the participants of the congress have trusted and elected Executive Board 2015-2020 term; expressed his desire to get the direction and support of the leaders of the Party, the State, the elders and get coordination of relevant agencies, political organizations, cultural ... in policy making as well as promoting opportunities to strengthen cooperation more practical and between Vietnam and Japan. Mr. Dinh La Thang said, with orientations and tasks the General Assembly, Vietnam Friendship Association - Japan will actively implement various activities, contributing to enhancing the understanding and exchange between the two peoples water, contributing to deepening the relationship "broad strategic partnership for peace, prosperity in Asia".
