On 01-02 March 2024, Vietthink attended Asean IPA Annual Meeting & Conference was held in Jakarta with the topic “Rising to the challenges of the Digital Era – Asean perspectives” as a member. The Annual Meeting & Conference this year was engaged by not only many IP Experts all over Asean regions but also others such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia, Japan, Pakistan, Netherlands, Quatar, United Kingdom, United States of America. Such participation has shown the increasing influence of Asean IPA in the IP world professional community.
At the Welcome Reception on 01 March 2024, IP professionals have been connected to one another under a friendly and joyful atmosphere and had a chance to explore Indonesian’s culture. Likewise, Vietthink has met many familiar and new faces with excitement to discuss about professional issues as well as sending their regards.
On 02 March 2024, the Conference is presented some of the IP aspects in the Digital Age, in particulars, challenges and future forecast of Asean Digital Age, digital economy growth in Asean, impact of digital economy on IP in Asean, Asean’s digital future. Data privacy frameworks are also taken into discussion of the Conference with many aspects such as data privacy in an AI-driven world, harnessing of the power of AI, the future of AI and its impact for IP ownership, infringement, regulations and other issues, etc.
